Natsuyo and Joon.... what can I say? I have too much in my heart for both of you. It has been such a pleasure to get to know you both and to have been a part of your day. I thank you very much for treating myself and Adam so well. Your family, your friends, it was just such a joy to photograph the moments of your day.

Natsuyo and Joon's wedding went smooth as glass. A simple appreciation for nature and balance in life were a strong force on their day. After a wonderful western ceremony, they continued onwards with a Korean Bowing Ceremony.... I do believe they are going to be blessed with many children after this one!!! Just look at those chestnuts they collected!

They deserve all the best in life. I hope you enjoy the photos!

Personal Work Sunday

Personal Work Sunday is back!
As many of you know, I had been posting images from personal photo projects on Sunday nights. I have been a photographer for most of my life and hence, have collected a large body of work over the years. I like to pursue different projects and continue to expand my vision and find new ways to learn about the world.
In college, one of my professors, David Horton, taught me a great lesson. He told us that photography is no different than being an athlete - an athlete doesn't stop training, so why should we stop shooting?
In any event, I hope you enjoy this years Personal Work!

This week I am presenting some images from my latest project photographing a new sport called Airsoft. The particular team I am photographing is called Filforce. Filforce is made up of primarily Asian players, the majority of them being Filipino. They share an amazing camaraderie together that was a joy to be around.

Congratulations Brandi & Steve!

Congratulations to Brandi and Steve!
They were wed on April 7, 2007 at Merri-Makers: Water's Edge in Sea Bright, NJ.
April gave us snow both the day before and the day after their wedding, but April 7 was just perfect! I have got to give a huge KUDOS to both Brandi and Steve and their entire bridal party for the many, many goosebumps they endured from standing outside on the beach while we all took photographs. This was one dedicated bridal party and after watching Brandi and Steve, I can see why they would be, a great couple indeed! Brandi even went barefoot for her photo session! I hope she managed to warm up!
It was a pleasure........
