Personal Work Sunday

I have a few missing posts to catch up with! I had an opportunity last weekend to get away for a few days. I headed out to New Paltz, NY for a few days of rest and hiking with some (fake) rock climbing! It was wonderful to get away and unwind for a little bit in the midst of the busy wedding season. If anyone is looking for a great place to stay in New Paltz, I HIGHLY recommend The Hungry Ghost Guesthouse. Petra and Michael Trunkes are the owners and they are simply delightful people. The attention to detail here was unmatched and best of all, it was a vegan getaway so healthy eating all weekend AND all the hiking and biking trails are a walk away from their doorstep. Keep your eyes open, you might even get to see a black bear!

But now I have to get the latest work up for everyone to see. This is going to be a heavy hitter this week as there have been some great images lately!

First - as it's "personal work Sunday" here are some images from my trip. The first shows the top of one of my climbs called The Lemon Squeeze. It was such a fun climb and I met a really nice couple from NYC also enjoying the hike. Turns out, the girl is also a photographer and a studio manager for a still life photographer in NYC. The second shot shows the view right before I climbed up that rickety little ladder.

And for "personal work Sunday" I have some undeveloped rolls from my Holga camera recently. Here are two that I enjoyed. The first one is from a ruin in Mexico. Second is from The Rumblers car show at Asbury Lanes, NJ last year.
