Huzzah! Maddie and Todd: October 22, 2006

Congratulations to Maddie and Todd! They were married in Hackettstown, NJ at Schooley's Mountain. It was the first Renaissance themed wedding for me and I had a BLAST. My only regret was that I didn't dress up! Almost all of their guests were dressed for the event and they even had a Viking Invasion before the ceremony! There was so much work put into this wedding, Maddie and Todd did a wonderful job.

Congratulations Katherine & Elliott Okun!

Married October 8, 2006
Grand Chalet, Wayne NJ

Congratulations to Katherine and Elliott! A very sweet couple. I loved watching Katherine and Elliott together. Katherine's smilie just couldn't get any bigger when she is around Elliott! And the effect that smile has on Elliott was very evident! Sometimes when I would photograph them, I felt almost as if they were just falling in love for the first time together.

Katherine, Elliott, thank you for allowing me into your lives for your big day. It was a pleasure.

Engagement: Amy & Giuseppe

What a photogenic couple! Amy and Giuseppe were naturals in front of the camera! The relationship they have together was so evident, they were so at ease and relaxed in front of the camera (and off). We began their session in NJ overlooking NYC as the city holds alot of meaning to them both. We then moved onwards to Central Park. Another wedding I am looking forward to!

Trash the Dress - Models Wanted!

Check out this link:
Trash the Dress

It's a collection of wedding/bridal images that were shot either after the wedding, or with a dress purchased cheaply specifically for this purpose. The idea is to create images that are fun, wild, sexy and daring without care for keeping the dress white and pristine.

If any of my brides have a hankering to do a session..let me know!!

Engagement: Christine & Josh

I first met Christine and Josh at the wedding of Allison and George Koroneos back in April. Christine and Josh are getting married on May 19, 2007 and I am lucky enough to be there. This wedding will be FUN! I loved photographing them both, they made the day a fun one. Enjoy

Personal Work Sunday

It's been awhile. I apologize if you have been following my blog and keep coming back to no images! I just had a few weeks of intense weddings and portraits and I have finally caught myself up. I stay committed to my promises of delivering images to my clients in a timely manner so I had to let the blog sit quietly while I finished up with the work.

With that said, here are some images for Personal Work Sunday. I will be posting furiously this week to catch up, there is so much to share. I've had some truly wonderful shoots and weddings recently. Stay tuned!!

This is an image taken with a large format (4x5) camera. This is from my fairy tale/mythology series. This particular image was illustrating Pandora's Box. The final piece was a printed in Platinum. Platinum and palladium printing are processes from the early days of photography. The process involved mixing my own chemistry and hand brushing the platinum on a piece of watercolor paper. Each image is unique. The image you see here is from the negative itself, a little contrasty without the platinum process applied.

The second image is a still life, same process as above.
