Personal Work Sunday

It's been awhile. I apologize if you have been following my blog and keep coming back to no images! I just had a few weeks of intense weddings and portraits and I have finally caught myself up. I stay committed to my promises of delivering images to my clients in a timely manner so I had to let the blog sit quietly while I finished up with the work.

With that said, here are some images for Personal Work Sunday. I will be posting furiously this week to catch up, there is so much to share. I've had some truly wonderful shoots and weddings recently. Stay tuned!!

This is an image taken with a large format (4x5) camera. This is from my fairy tale/mythology series. This particular image was illustrating Pandora's Box. The final piece was a printed in Platinum. Platinum and palladium printing are processes from the early days of photography. The process involved mixing my own chemistry and hand brushing the platinum on a piece of watercolor paper. Each image is unique. The image you see here is from the negative itself, a little contrasty without the platinum process applied.

The second image is a still life, same process as above.
